Hospital Policies
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why an occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.
For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date.
Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other cats.
This is one of the reasons we ask you to restrain your cat. We recommend that your cat be placed in a secure covered carrier during all transport from home to clinic.
Feeling the challenge of the carrier already? Learn how to make the experience easier on both of you.
We require full payment at the time that services are rendered.
For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, cash, personal checks (from established clients) and CareCredit.
Internet Pharmacies
We presently do not authorize prescription refills of any kind to any internet pharmacy that is not accredited.
This is due to the fact that many manufacturers do not sell their products to internet pharmacies; as a result, the manufacturers do not guarantee their products when purchased through an internet pharmacy. The best way to ensure receiving a product that is backed by the manufacturer is to purchase it through a licensed veterinarian.
We do our best to keep many of our flea and tick preventatives comparable in price to internet pharmacies. You will have the peace of mind of knowing these products were purchased directly from the manufacturer. We often have specials running where you can receive rebate when purchasing a larger quantity of flea and tick preventatives. These specials are offered through the manufacturer and are only made available to licensed veterinarians.
We value you as a client and wish to provide the best care possible for you and your pet. If you are aware of the risks and still wish to purchase medications / products through outside sources, our veterinarians will write a prescription for you as long as you maintain yearly wellness exams and necessary therapeutic monitoring. Our purpose is to continue providing reliable sources for medications we believe serve your pet’s health care needs as safely and conveniently as possible.
